ABOUT THE SIDECAR
The Sidecar was created towards the end of the First World War. The origins of the drink are disputed spanning three countries and two continents. We’ll just go with the version that says all great things were originated in New Orleans. The Sidecar is a variation of the Brandy Crusta cocktail which was created in the 1920’s. In the 19th century, there was a very specific definition for what made a cocktail; it was a blend of spirits, water, sugar, and bitters.
